W3.NEXT.GEN.OH.US Officially Launches

We are pleased to announce the launch of NEXT's new web site. NEXT
aims to provide Internet services and great technologies, with a focus
on being free and open in how those technologies work.
At the moment, everything about NEXT's main web site is new. It has
been reorganized to provide information in new and vastly improved
ways. We aim to make our work on Next, and our outputs, freedom
respecting, open and transparent.
The World-Wide Web has been a great technology for transmitting
documents over the last few decades. It has been less so great though
at being forced to do what it is not designed to be: an "everything
platform", a "web application platform/host", and anything else
related to making it do more than it was designed for. There are
better times and places for software applications. The Web is not one
of those places.
Here's to the future of our technologies, and everything that is next
for NEXT!
