At NEXT, as with most projects and organizations, computer systems are used extensively for a wide variety of purposes. These computer systems allow us to perform all of our computing remotely from any computer. Additional techolological advancements, along with the technologies in use on our computers, make it not too different than if we were physically sitting at the machines themselves. By using technology in a creative way like this, it helps us have more time and resources for better innovation and collaboration on the projects and work that matter most.

NEXT's servers have gigabit (1Gb) Internet connectivity using fiber-optic cables. Connectivity for NEXT's intranet systems vary between user locations (Category 5, 6, and/or 7) and technologies (wired vs wireless).
